Leonardo Da Vinci once said simplicity is the ultimate sophistication. YES, it might be a little ambitious to compare the likes of Da Vinci with a Salon Yazbek haircut, BUT WE THINK THIS LOB make over is so stunning! Presenting our latest muse Megan!
Megan hadn’t cut her hair for quiet some time and was up for a bit of change, though urged on the side of caution as she had become attached to her long hair. Megan was certainly up for a fresh cut for spring and once showed some inspirational images, Megan was super keen on cutting her locks off, though requested a safe collar length haircut.
Salon Director Nathan Yazbek worked his magic “Megan’s hair cut is super simple. Medium length hair is really on trend at the moment. It is a versatile hair cut, low maintenance yet super sexy”
Once Nathan lobbed the length off, he texturized the hair “I softened the ends of Megan’s hair to ensure she did not have that “freshly cut” look. I wanted the hair to look worn in, romantic and relaxed. There is a fine line of going scissor happy when texturizing the hair, you certainly need to know when to stop and simply put your scissors down. I’ve seen a lot of hair that is overly thin and too choppy!”
Once the hair had been blow-dried and refined, a little curling was obligatory as Nathan explains “A lob just isn’t a lob unless there is a soft wave in it”
The result of Megan’s Hair was clearly worthy of a Da Vinci portrait - simple, effective and timeless!
