Nathan Yazbek Leads Goldwell Team at LEO LIN Resort ‘27
Some afternoons in Sydney are made for harbour views, good company and stunning fashion, and this was one of them. We are proud to share that our very own Nathan Yazbek, Goldwell National Artist and owner of Salon Yazbek, led the Goldwell team for LEO LIN’s Resort ‘27 Sojourn Collection showcase. If you love runway hair, find out about how the look came together.
What was the LEO LIN Resort ‘27 Sojourn launch?
LEO LIN celebrated the launch of the highly anticipated Resort ‘27 Sojourn Collection with an intimate aperitivo hour and runway presentation. It was held along the harbourfront promenade at Park Hyatt Sydney, set against the iconic backdrop of the Sydney Opera House.
The runway revealed a joyful novelty print inspired by a sun-drenched gelateria, which set the tone for the afternoon. Craftsmanship remained the star, with hand-embroidered three-dimensional florals built petal by petal from silk, organza and mother-of-pearl. They sat alongside architecturally layered tiered dresses and skirts, and richly embellished tailored separates.
What was the hair look on the runway?
Effortless texture and polished finishes, designed to complement an elegant collection without competing with it. Hair was curled, then pulled back into romantic braids. Generous loose pieces were left to frame the face, and feminine white bows added the finishing touch.
THE PRODUCT ESSENTIAL
The hero was Goldwell Dry Texture Spray. It gave the curls their effortless, lived-in feel while keeping the finish polished, which is exactly what a braid needs to look romantic rather than rigid.
should I wear a runway braid look to my next event?
Absolutely! A softly curled, braided style with face-framing pieces suits a wedding, a milestone dinner or any occasion where you want to look put together without looking overdone. Chat to the team at Salon Yazbek about how to adapt it to your hair length and texture.
