Nathan is a certified Educator as well as the AHIA NSW/ACT Hairdresser of the Year 2023 and 2022. He leads a team of the best Neutral Bay hairdressers who are creative, highly skilled and passionate about their craft, and genuinely care about each and every one of their clients.

About the Owner

Owner Nathan Yazbek is a certified Educator as well as the AHIA NSW/ACT Hairdresser of the Year 2023 and 2022. He openly shares his knowledge and expertise in the art of hairdressing, not only with his team, but with the national hairdressing industry. With over 20 years hairdressing experience and countless local awards his list of accolades and achievements is diverse.

He is a firm believer in the mantra “you never stop learning” and is proud to lead the way in sustainability awareness and action through his best lower north shore salon. Dedicated to making a real difference through the importance and benefits of an eco-luxe approach, the team provide clients professional results whilst also having a positive impact on the environment.

Growing up in the Inner West of Sydney, Nathan loved getting his hair cut at the local Five Dock salon before taking on his first role in the industry during his high school years. A year into a Bachelor of Arts in Digital Media, he found himself more drawn to the Oxford Street high end salons on his daily commute than the course, so he dropped out of uni, got himself an apprenticeship in Darlinghurst and started studying hairdressing. Work at other salons followed along with an inspiring 6 months travel around the Middle East before Salon Yabek opened its doors.

When he is not busy on the floor at the best salon in Mosman or educating and inspiring other hairdressers, you will find him enjoying the north shore lifestyle with his family.
